Site Plans/G&Ds
WCE has been completing dozens of site plans for private clients mostly around Wickenburg in Maricopa County and Yavapai County and some in Pinal County and La Paz County as well. We complete G&D plans and if necessary Drainage Reports within a reasonable time frame. We help you putting the plans together for your Home, Casita, Garage, Workshop, Arena, Barn, or fencing.
Permit Violations
WCE has been asked numerous times to step in to help resolving a planning, development, or zoning violation case, mostly in Maricopa County. Property owners often are not aware that there are limitations to what they can do without permitting on their land. We help getting the violations removed by creating and submitting the appropriate documents. We have even succeeded in getting a variance in the client’s favor in one case.
Design Projects
Congress Post Office
Grading & Drainage
The landscaping around the Congress Post office was not completed according to the original design and ponding rainwater remained near the parking lot for an extended time. A re-design, County approval process, and communication with the contractor were completed to remedy the issue.
Wickenburg Sidewalk
Design
The Town of Wickenburg asked WCE to design the extension of the existing sidewalk along a stretch of road near US 60 on the west side of Town. The design included navigating existing sewer manholes, adding ramps, consider existing driveways, and drainage from a large wash.
Movie Theatre Parking
Design
The Town of Wickenburg asked WCE to design parking for the Saguaro Movie Theatre along Valentine. Originally, visitors just parked on the gravel lot along the wall. The Theatre owners decided to beautify the area with a little park and designate parking along the road.
Plan Reviews
WCE has been on the team reviewing plan submittals for the City of Nogales since 2015 and the Town of Wickenburg since 2019.
Submittal Guidelines
The City of Nogales hired WCE to help with a streamlines process for consultants and designers submitting plans for review to the City Engineer. WCE completed sample drawings and check lists to help standardize submittals for easier and faster processing.
